Flugpunkte widmet sich aufblasbaren Räumen und skulpturalen Strukturen im öffentlichen Raum.
Konzipiert ist das Projekt für das Lichtenberger Fennpfuhl-Viertel, konkret den Anton-Saefkow-Platz und den direkt angrenzenden Teil des Fennpfuhl-Parks. Am Samstag, den 30. September 2023 werden verschiedene aufblasbare künstlerische Arbeiten das Viertel aktivieren. Zusätzliche finden offene Workshops und Aktivitäten statt.
Flugpunkte behandelt direkt und indirekt die Frage, wie wir die Städte und Viertel, in denen wir leben, kreativ neu denken können. Künstlerische Perspektiven sind dabei von besonderer Bedeutung, weil durch sie Möglichkeitsräume und utopische Potentiale mit größerer Freiheit ausgelotet werden können. Bewegliche Räume und Skulpturen erweitern den öffentlichen Raum kurzfristig und niedrigschwellig auf spielerische Weise und sind aus diesem Grund interessant für ein breites (zufälliges) Publikum. Das Spielerisch-Experimentelle schafft Möglichkeiten, um Zusammenhänge und Situationen im urbanen Raum fernab des Gewohnten zu erleben und soll Motivation sein, die Stadt auf verschiedenen Wegen mitzugestalten.

Flugpunkte is a project in Berlin which deals with inflatable spaces and sculptural structures in public space.
The project has been developed for the Fennpfuhl area in Berlin-Lichtenberg, specifically the Anton-Saefkow-Platz and the directly adjacent part of Fennpfuhl-Park. On Saturday, 30 September 2023, various inflatable artworks and structures will activate the neighbourhood. In addition, open workshops and activities for kids and adults will take place.
Flugpunkte directly and indirectly addresses the question of how we can rethink our cities and the neighbourhoods we live in. Artistic perspectives are especially interesting in this framework because through them, possibilities and utopian potentials can be explored with greater freedom. Mobile spaces and sculptures can influence the perception of public space in a short-term, low-threshold and playful way. For this reason, they are interesting for a broader public. The playful-experimental approach creates new perspectives on contexts and situations in urban space far away from the usual and should thus be a motivation to participate in shaping the city with different ideas.
